February is all about LOVE! As entrepreneurs we LOVE what we do all the time right? It’s obvious we LOVE the products or services we provide, that’s why we chose it to begin with. We of course LOVE our clients all the time (ok maybe not ALL the time HA!) and we are in LOVE with what owning our own business provides for our families, the freedom, the income, the flexibility, etc, but the truth is sometimes being an entrepreneur can have it’s challenges. That is one of the reasons #ILoveWink. Here are some quick tips to remember to LOVE your daily interactions with people as you build your business.
L= Leave them feeling great. Whether a new potential client choses to do business with you today or not, always leave them feeling great. Someone wise once said “Not everyone will remember your name, or even what you do- but they will ALWAYS remember how you made them FEEL”. Isn’t that so true? Think about it!
O= Offer vs Ask. You would think this one would be easy, however in our daily routine sometimes we forget. Remind yourself regularly to have the mindset of “how can I serve this person vs how can I make a sale or get a new client”. As consumers these days, we have so much being thrown at us daily, hourly, even minute by minute. Have a different mindset-one of serving. The difference is everything.
V= Vision Create a vision of how you and your products or services will make a positive impact each time you meet with a new potential client. Create a vision of the outcome as well. We all know how powerful our minds are, lets tap into them more.
E= Example There are so many people watching us and with the way we expose ourselves these days with social media it’s easy to do. So always set the example and be the example in all that you do, you never know who is watching even when you think no one is.
